Developing good habits: sport Yoga

Hello,

Today I would like to share with you the sport I have been doing for the past three weeks and the app (not free) that teatched me and is helping to track my consistency and progress.

I am sorry if you are used to go to blogs and get a list with 5/10 best free apps... Here I share things that realy works for me. I did got some apps and this one was the one that truly worked for me.

Why Yoga? My five reasons:

1. I feel like I do not adapt to fast paced exercises and in Yoga you can do it in your own pace;

2. There is something about 8 types of Yoga metodologies, so you can chose the one you adapt the most;

3. Helps developing focus, equilibrium, elasticity, strenght, mindfulness and discipline - with three weeks (using the begginer mode), I already feel my back pains better, a little increase in my elasticity and in my willpower;

4. You can do it almost everywere (it includes home, hotel rooms, parks, beach);

5. No expensive apparel/tools needed, not even a good quality shoes, because you wear none while practicing Yoga. If you want more comfort, it is recommended a good quality mattress or Yoga socks.

If you feel like me, trying new things to make a better life, maybe you are going to enjoy it.

Something that could help you to build the habit:

Why did I choose Down Dog as my favorite Yoga app? Why to buy it? My five reasons (I am not being payed to do this referral)

Yoga | Down Dog – Apps no Google Play

1. It teatches you. The app have a session called "Journeys" wich guides you through some Yoga metodologies, as Vinyasa;

2. Once you buy it, you have all related apps as "Barre" (a training bases on ballet moves) and "7 minutes training", and they all count to your "History", as I tell in the topic bellow;

3. History: you can see how many days, how many time and wich exercise you did. As yoga is recommended as an daily exercise, it could help you to motivate not to skip a day just to see the full month complete:

4. You can personalize your practices, chosing how many time you want to spent, how many time you want to rest with music after the training, wich metedology you want to follow, the pace and in what you want to focus on (relaxing, strengh of the back, strengh of legs, etc). All classes are unique: since I started, it was never the same, even when I chose exactly the same setup as the past day;

5. The music selection: as the classes, the music remix is never the same. You can chose between a modern randon remix and a classic piano or even sounds of nature. Many of my actual favorite songs I became to know beneath Down Dog app.

You don't need to push yourself to be "a better version", you just need to be you and to realize the things that make you feel good, that make your body feel better.

Give it a try.
